Our small San Francisco-based team is seeking an experienced 3D animator to join our studio. In this position, you will fill an integral role on our award-winning art team, and bring all our characters and creatures to life. This is a full-time position with the option for working remotely.
Animate characters and creatures in collaboration with our art and design teams, creating both action- and narrative-focused animations
Deliver on artistic / creative goals while adhering to production, gameplay, and performance requirements
Integrate animations into our pipeline, and iterate on them based on art and design feedback
Work closely with our engineering team, and a rigger / technical animator, to problem-solve and improve pipelines
About the Candidate
Expert-level experience with Maya
Experience working in a game engine on one or more shipped titles
A distinct creative voice with ability to execute across a spectrum of styles
Familiarity with Supergiant’s titles; general interest in video games
Excellent written and verbal communication
Effective at creatively and collaboratively problem-solving
Organized, responsible, and able to work autonomously
Experience with After Effects a plus
Motion capture and rigging experience are pluses
